Terms and Conditions

1) Bookings


a) Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist between you and Sophie Russell until we receive full payment from you.


b) We do not store credit card information, nor share your information with any third parties.


2) Payment


a) Full payment of £950 is due by 2nd August 2020 or your place may be offered to someone else and any previous money that has been paid will not be refunded.


b) If you have been offered the Earlybird price of £850 this must be paid in full by 13th May 2020 or the full price of £950 will be owed.


c) The price is to be paid in British Pounds, irrespective of fluctuations in currency or any third party charges.




3) If you have booked a single bed in a shared room we will only place you with someone of the same sex as you.


Travel Arrangements


4) All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences from any delays or cancellations with any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or any irregularities with any of your travel related documents. Transfers to/from the retreat are at your own cost, unless otherwise specified.


Travel Insurance


5) You are required to have travel insurance and we ask that you are covered for the activities of this retreat as well as well as unexpected cancellation and sickness, losses and all the usual risks. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency.


6) Your health


a) It is your responsibility to let instructors know of any injuries and to be mindful of your body at all times during this retreat. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity on this retreat then you must desist immediately.


b) It is also your responsibility to check with your doctor with an understanding of yoga to check you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga and other activities that you may chose to do while on this retreat.


c) Please advise us of any physical or mental health conditions and dietary requirements before booking. If you have any health conditions or dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on this retreat, then we reserve the right to advise you to desist and in the interests of your wellbeing or others, we may decline your stay at our retreats. If you do not advise us of your health conditions or dietary requirements we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your payment is forfeit.


d) Pregnant women are not able to come on this retreat.


7) Cancellation by you


a) You (or any member of your party can cancel your booking at any time, providing the cancellation is made by the person who booked the place(s) and is notified to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day we receive notification. As this incurs administrative costs, returned payments are subject to a £50 charge, and in addition if such cancellation is made within 50 days of the start of the retreat, we will retain 100% of the cost of the retreat. However if another person can be found to take your place then we may offer you a 50% refund at our discretion.


b) Refunds and returned payments are usually settled 10 working days after receiving the cancellation. Otherwise once a booking has been accepted no payment is refundable unless the course is cancelled. Once the retreat has begun no refund or part refund or unused part of the retreat will be repaid in the event of a cancellation by you.


c) Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim on your holiday insurance.


Amendments by us


8) Occasionally changes may have to be made eg. class times, yoga teacher or other arrangements. Which we reserve the right to do at any time. If your accommodation has to be changed we will do our utmost to get other accommodation of a similar rating. If a significant change is necessary we will contact you as soon as is reasonably possible, if there is time before your departure.


9) Our liability to you


a) We accept responsibility to ensure our retreats are supplied as described and the services that we are contractually obliged to supply are to a reasonable standard.


b) We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disasters, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.


c) We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Yoga classes are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat. We are not liable for loss of, damage to, your personal property.


10) Group Bookings


Where a booking is made on behalf of several individuals the booking is conditional on the person(s) paying having authorisation from all the individuals named on the booking form to enter into this contract. The terms of this contract will apply to each member of the group as though they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.



11) No liability for possessions


The villa will not be left empty and unlocked at any time, however you will nt be given your own personal villa key and the rooms within the villa are not individually locked. It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times. This includes hire cars of other hire equipment.


12) Complaints


If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform me immediately and I will endeavour to put things right. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female guests in any group, and we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest sharing your accommodation.


13) Legal disclaimer

14) Privacy policy


We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the service you requested. We do not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the site, except to log the user’s IP address and session information such as the duration of the visit to the site and the nature of the browser used. This information is used only for administration of the site system and in compilation of statistics used by us to access the use of the site. This privacy policy does not cover the links within the site linking to other sites.


15) Complaints


We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat. If you feel that a compliant is warranted you must raise the issue directly with Sophie Russell. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to Sophie Russell within 14 days of the end of your retreat.
